Happy New Year

This new years eve we went to squaw. I have never put the kids in so many layers, it was cold about 15 degrees. But thankfully they let me put all the layers on and it was enough. We watched the torch parade and the fireworks. Nobody was cold!

Date Day

Conner and had a 'date' on Sunday. Just the 2 of us! Since I am not nursing during the day anymore I really wanted to spend some time just Conner and I. Bill and Oliver got some quality time at home together too.

We headed to Reno for lunch (pizza) and a movie (Planes:Fire and Rescue). Even though the movie was a little scary for Conner, we had a wonderful time. 

After the movie we walked down to the Truckee River and stuck our feet in...

We had a long layover and a delayed flight in Denver on our way to Rapid City.  Conner and rode the train back and forth for an hour!

Big Kids Structure - Yes, a very creative one! NOT the standard climb up slide down. It can be a bit intimidating but once they get going there are endless possibilities.

The bathrooms are in the little house behind the playground. So close!!
